Terms of service
Last updated 26 October 2026
These terms of service ("Terms") are a binding agreement between Nagrik Apps, a sole proprietorship based in Ahmedabad, India ("Nagrik Apps", "we", "us"), and the business that installs or uses OneSeam ("you", "Customer"). By installing, connecting or using OneSeam, you accept these Terms. If you accept them on behalf of a business, you confirm that you are authorised to bind it. If you do not accept these Terms, do not install or use OneSeam.
1. Definitions
- OneSeam or the Service: the OneSeam app for Wix sites, our service that connects it to messaging channels, and this website.
- Customer Content: everything you or your team send, receive, create or store through OneSeam, including messages, media, templates, contacts, labels, campaign audiences and automation rules.
- End User: any person you communicate with through OneSeam, such as your customers and leads.
- Third-Party Platforms: services we do not control that OneSeam relies on, including Meta (WhatsApp Business Platform, Instagram, Facebook), Wix and our hosting provider, Cloudflare.
- Applicable Law: all laws, regulations and binding rules that apply to you, your business, your Customer Content or your End Users.
2. Business use only
OneSeam is a tool for businesses. You confirm that you use it for your trade, business or profession and not as a consumer, and that you are at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into contracts. Sole traders and freelancers may use OneSeam for their business. If you would be acting as a consumer, do not install or use OneSeam. Nothing in these Terms removes rights that the law of your country gives you and that cannot be excluded by contract.
3. What OneSeam does and our role
OneSeam places WhatsApp, and later other channels such as site chat, email, Instagram and Facebook, into one inbox in your Wix dashboard, with templates, label-based campaigns, team assignment and Wix Automations. You connect your own Meta WhatsApp Business account, and your Customer Content is stored in your own Wix site.
We are a technology provider. Our service carries your messages between your Wix site and WhatsApp on your instructions. We do not decide who you message, what you say, when you send it or which End Users are in a campaign. We do not initiate, select the recipients of, or modify the content of your messages. We are not a party to your communications or dealings with End Users, and nothing in OneSeam makes us your agent, partner or representative towards them.
4. Your accounts
- You need a Wix site and your own WhatsApp Business account with Meta, and you must keep both in good standing. Your relationship with Meta and Wix is governed by their terms, which you accept separately.
- You are responsible for your Wix, Meta and OneSeam access, for choosing who on your team may use OneSeam, and for everything done through your accounts, whether or not you authorised it. Tell us promptly if you believe your accounts have been misused.
- You must give us accurate information and keep it up to date.
5. Fees, Meta charges and taxes
- Subscription. Paid plans (coming soon, expected around USD 5 per site per month) are sold and billed through Wix at the price shown in the Wix App Market. Wix's terms govern payment, renewal, cancellation and refunds. We may change prices or plans only as Wix's rules allow; under those rules a price increase applies to new subscriptions, and you keep the features you have already paid for.
- Meta charges. Meta bills WhatsApp messaging and any other Meta charges directly to your own Meta account. These charges are entirely your responsibility, including charges caused by your templates, campaigns, automations, team members or settings, and charges arising from changes to Meta's pricing. We do not receive, collect or refund Meta charges.
- Taxes. Prices exclude taxes unless Wix states otherwise. You are responsible for taxes that apply to your purchase, other than taxes on our income.
6. Your responsibilities
You are solely responsible for your Customer Content, your communications with End Users and your use of OneSeam. In particular, you must:
- comply with the WhatsApp Business Messaging Policy, the WhatsApp Commerce Policy, Meta's other terms and policies, and Wix's terms and policies;
- not process any data you receive from Meta's platforms through OneSeam in a way that would breach the Meta Platform Terms, the Meta Terms for WhatsApp Business Platform, or any other Meta terms or policies;
- obtain and record every opt-in, consent and permission the law or Meta requires before you message an End User, honour opt-outs and "STOP" requests promptly, and keep the evidence;
- comply with all data-protection laws that apply to you, including India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 and, where it applies, the EU and UK GDPR, including giving End Users any notice you are required to give and keeping the published privacy policy that WhatsApp's policies require;
- comply with anti-spam, telemarketing and electronic-marketing laws, including the rules of the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India where they apply, and with consumer-protection, advertising, e-commerce and sector-specific laws;
- make sure your templates, campaigns, audiences, labels, assignment settings and automation rules are lawful, accurate and set up as you intend;
- handle all questions, complaints, refunds and disputes from your End Users about your goods, services or messages; and
- make sure everyone on your team who uses OneSeam follows these Terms. Their acts and omissions are treated as yours.
7. Acceptable use
You must not use OneSeam, or let anyone else use it, to:
- send spam, unsolicited bulk messages or messages to people who have not opted in or have opted out;
- send unlawful, fraudulent, deceptive, defamatory, obscene, hateful, harassing or threatening content, or content that infringes anyone's rights;
- offer goods or services that Meta's or Wix's policies prohibit, or that are unlawful where you or your End Users are;
- collect or misuse sensitive personal data, payment card data or government identifiers in breach of the law or Meta's policies;
- use data received through OneSeam to build or enrich profiles of people without their valid consent, for surveillance, to decide people's eligibility for housing, employment, credit, insurance, education or government benefits, or to discriminate against anyone, or sell, license or share that data except as Meta's terms allow;
- impersonate anyone, or misrepresent who you are or why you are messaging;
- distribute malware, probe or attack our service or any Third-Party Platform, or bypass usage limits or security measures;
- copy, resell, sublicense, reverse engineer or build a competing product from OneSeam, except where the law expressly allows it; or
- use OneSeam in a way that could expose us, Meta or Wix to liability or harm.
8. Your Meta account standing
Meta alone sets and enforces quality ratings, messaging limits, template approvals, display-name approvals, business verification, and restrictions, blocks or bans on numbers and accounts. These depend on how you message your End Users. You are responsible for them and for their consequences for your business. We cannot reverse Meta's decisions and are not liable for any rejection, downgrade, limit, block, suspension or ban, or for any loss that follows from it.
9. Third-Party Platforms
- OneSeam depends on Meta, Wix, Cloudflare and other services we do not control. They may suffer outages or delays, change or withdraw their interfaces, change their policies, prices or approval requirements, or stop supporting OneSeam.
- When that happens we may have to change, limit or remove features, sometimes at short notice. We are not liable for any failure, delay, change or loss caused by a Third-Party Platform.
- Each Third-Party Platform processes data under its own terms and privacy policy. Meta and Wix act under your own direct agreements with them; they are not our subcontractors, and we are not responsible for how they handle data that they hold.
- Our access to Meta's platform is subject to Meta's terms for technology providers. You authorise us to give Meta the information about you and your use of OneSeam that Meta's terms require, to follow Meta's lawful instructions (including to delete data or to suspend or end your access), to pass on to you any communication from Meta about an End User's request concerning their data, and to pass on to you any obligation Meta requires us to pass on.
10. Message delivery
We do not guarantee that any message will be sent, delivered, read or delivered on time, or that delivery and read statuses, contact matches or campaign results will be complete or accurate. Delivery is controlled by Meta, the End User's device and network, and other factors outside our control. We are not responsible for the content of any message sent or received through OneSeam.
11. Customer Content and licence to us
As between you and us, you own your Customer Content. Your Customer Content is stored in your own Wix site; our service passes message content through without storing it. You give us a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to access, transmit and process your Customer Content only to provide, secure and support OneSeam for you and to comply with the law. You confirm that you have all rights and consents needed to grant this licence. We do not sell your data, use it for advertising, or use it to train artificial intelligence.
12. Data processing terms
- Roles. For personal data of End Users and your team that OneSeam handles for you, you are the data controller (under the GDPR) and the data fiduciary (under India's DPDP Act), and we are your data processor. You determine the purposes and means of processing, and you are responsible for having a lawful basis and for giving End Users any required notice.
- Instructions. We process that personal data only on your documented instructions, which are these Terms and your use and settings of OneSeam, unless the law requires otherwise; in that case we will tell you first unless the law forbids it. We will tell you if we believe an instruction breaks data-protection law, and we may decline to follow it.
- Nature and scope. Subject matter: messaging between you and your End Users. Data: message content and media, phone numbers, profile names, contact details, labels and delivery statuses. Data subjects: End Users and your team. Duration: while OneSeam is installed, then as set out in our privacy policy.
- Confidentiality and security. Anyone we authorise to process this data is bound by confidentiality. We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures appropriate to the data we handle, as described in our privacy policy.
- Subprocessors. You give general authorisation for us to use the subprocessors listed in our privacy policy, currently Cloudflare, Inc. We bind each subprocessor by written terms that protect the data at least as well as this section, and we remain responsible to you for its performance as the law requires. We will post any new subprocessor there at least 15 days before using it, except in an emergency affecting the security or availability of the Service. If you object on reasonable data-protection grounds, tell us; if we cannot address your objection, you may uninstall OneSeam. Any refund is handled by Wix under its terms. Meta and Wix are not our subprocessors: they process data under your own direct agreements with them, as your providers.
- Assistance. Taking into account the limited data we hold, we will reasonably help you respond to requests from End Users and regulators and meet your security, breach-notification and impact-assessment obligations.
- Personal data breaches. We will notify you without undue delay after becoming aware of a breach affecting personal data we process for you. We will give you the information reasonably available to us, add to it as we learn more, and take reasonable steps to contain the breach. As data controller or data fiduciary, you are responsible for any notice the law requires you to give regulators and End Users, such as notice to the Data Protection Board of India under rule 7 of the Digital Personal Data Protection Rules 2025 (from 13 May 2027) or to an EU or UK supervisory authority; we will help you do so.
- International transfers. We are based in India, and our providers may process data outside India and outside your country. Where the EU GDPR applies to a transfer of personal data to us, the EU Standard Contractual Clauses adopted by Commission Decision 2021/914 (Module 2, or Module 3 where you are yourself a processor) are incorporated into these Terms by reference, with you as data exporter and us as data importer, the details in this section as their annexes, and Irish law and courts where the clauses need a choice. Where the UK GDPR applies, the UK International Data Transfer Addendum to those clauses applies too. Our subprocessors provide their own transfer safeguards. This Section is the written contract that Article 28 of the GDPR requires, so no separate signature is needed. If you need it as a separate document, ask us.
- Deletion. When you uninstall OneSeam, we delete the details we hold to connect your WhatsApp number to your site, as described on our data deletion page, except anything the law requires us to keep, and only for as long as it requires. Your Customer Content remains in your Wix site under your control, so there is nothing for us to return.
- Information and audits. On reasonable request we will give you the information necessary to show compliance with this section, by written answers and documents. Because we hold so little data, we expect this to be enough. Where the law gives you a right to a further audit, or a regulator requires one, you or an independent auditor bound by confidentiality may carry it out remotely, on at least 30 days' notice, no more than once a year unless there has been a personal data breach or a regulator requires it, and at your cost.
- Logs. We keep logs of the processing we do for you, without message content, for one year, and give them to you on reasonable request to help you meet your own obligations.
- US privacy laws. Where the California Consumer Privacy Act or a similar US state law applies, we act as your service provider or processor. We will not sell or share that personal information, or retain, use or disclose it for any purpose other than providing OneSeam to you, or outside our direct business relationship with you, or combine it with personal information from other sources, except as those laws permit. We will comply with those laws, tell you if we can no longer meet them, and let you take reasonable steps to stop and remedy any unauthorised use.
- Retention settings. You choose in OneSeam's settings how long messages and media are kept in your Wix site. That choice is your documented instruction to us, and we carry it out daily; deleted messages and media cannot be recovered by us. You are responsible for choosing a period that meets every law that applies to you and your End Users, including any minimum period (such as rule 8(3) of India's Digital Personal Data Protection Rules, 2025, from 13 May 2027, and tax or accounting record-keeping laws) and any maximum (such as the GDPR's storage-limitation principle). We do not advise you which period applies. Deletion in line with your setting is not a breach of these Terms. We may pause deletion for your site, and will tell you unless the law forbids it, where the law, a court or a government authority requires information to be preserved, including under rule 3(1)(g) of the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021. Copies kept by Wix (including the Wix Inbox) or by Meta are outside this setting.
13. Intermediary status
- Our position. For Customer Content, we act as an intermediary within the meaning of the Information Technology Act 2000 and, to the fullest extent the law allows, claim the protection of section 79 of that Act and of equivalent laws elsewhere. Features such as campaigns, templates and automations only carry out choices you make: you decide whether a message is sent, who receives it and what it says. We do not initiate transmissions, select their receivers, or select or modify the information they contain. We have no general obligation to monitor Customer Content. These Terms, our privacy policy and our data deletion page are our rules and user agreement for the purposes of the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules 2021.
- Prohibited information. In addition to Section 7, you must not use OneSeam to host, display, upload, share or transmit information that: belongs to another person and to which you have no right; is obscene, pornographic, paedophilic, invasive of another's privacy (including bodily privacy), insulting or harassing on the basis of gender, racially or ethnically objectionable, encourages money laundering or gambling, or promotes enmity between groups on grounds of religion or caste with intent to incite violence; is an online game that causes user harm, or is or advertises an online game that is not verified as a permissible online game; is harmful to children; infringes any patent, trademark, copyright or other proprietary right; deceives or misleads about the origin of a message, or knowingly communicates misinformation or information that is patently false; impersonates another person; threatens the unity, integrity, defence, security or sovereignty of India, friendly relations with foreign states or public order, incites an offence, or insults another nation; contains software viruses or other harmful code; or violates any law in force.
- Consequences. If you break this Section or Section 7, or our privacy policy, we may immediately suspend or end your access to OneSeam, or remove or disable access to the information concerned, or both, as far as we are able. Because your Customer Content is stored in your Wix site, we may do this by disabling the connection, features or account involved, and we may ask you to delete the content. If the breach involves information that breaks the law, the person responsible may be liable to penalty or punishment under the Information Technology Act 2000 or other law. If it involves an offence that the law requires to be reported, such as under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita 2023 read with the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita 2023, or the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act 2012, we will report it to the appropriate authority.
- Periodic notice. This Section, published on this page at all times, is our notice to you of our rules and of the consequences above under rule 3(1)(c) and (f) of the 2021 Rules. We tell you about changes to it as set out in Section 22.
- Orders and notices. We will act on an order of a competent court or a notice from an authorised government agency within the time the law requires, preserve information and records for as long as the law requires, and give information to authorised agencies when lawfully required.
- Complaints. Anyone may complain about content or about our Service to our Grievance Officer named in Section 25. We acknowledge complaints within 24 hours and resolve them within 7 days of receipt, or within the shorter time the law sets for a particular kind of complaint, such as a request to remove content that exposes a person's intimate images or impersonates them.
14. Early access and coming-soon features
Features marked beta, early access, preview or coming soon, including channels other than WhatsApp, are provided for evaluation. They may be incomplete, contain errors, change, or be withdrawn at any time without notice or liability, and Section 17 applies to them in full.
15. Support
We provide support by email to all users, free and paid, for as long as we offer OneSeam. We usually reply within 1–2 business days. Reply times are a goal, not a guarantee of resolution or of uptime, and no service-level credits apply unless we agree them in writing. The times for grievances in Section 13 and for data requests in our privacy policy are set by law and are separate.
16. Our intellectual property
OneSeam, its software, design and brand belong to Nagrik Apps or its licensors. Subject to these Terms, we give you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use OneSeam only to run your own business while it is installed. If you send us suggestions or feedback, we may use them without restriction or payment. WhatsApp, Meta, Instagram, Facebook and Wix are trademarks of their owners; OneSeam is not made, endorsed or sponsored by them.
17. Disclaimer of warranties
To the fullest extent the law allows, OneSeam is provided "as is" and "as available". We make no warranty, express, implied or statutory, including any warranty of merchantability, satisfactory quality, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, availability or that the Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure or error-free. We do not warrant that OneSeam will meet your requirements or keep you compliant with any law or platform policy. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranties to be excluded; in those places the exclusion applies only as far as the law permits.
18. Limitation of liability
- Excluded loss. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive loss, or for any loss of profit, revenue, business, goodwill, opportunity, anticipated savings or data, or for Meta charges, account restrictions or bans, however caused and even if we were told it was possible.
- Cap. To the fullest extent the law allows, our total liability for all claims arising out of or relating to OneSeam or these Terms, in contract, tort (including negligence), breach of statutory duty or otherwise, is limited to the greater of (a) the subscription fees you paid for OneSeam in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the first claim, and (b) USD 100.
- What is not limited. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, wilful misconduct, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under Applicable Law. Where a law does not allow a particular exclusion or limit, that exclusion or limit applies only as far as that law allows, and the rest of this Section still applies.
- Prompt notice. You must tell us in writing promptly after you become aware of anything that may lead to a claim, so that we can try to fix it. We are not liable for any part of a loss that you could reasonably have avoided or reduced, including by telling us sooner. This does not shorten any period the law gives you to bring a claim.
- These limits reflect the low price of the Service, the fact that you control your messages, settings and Meta account, and the fact that you can insure against your own business risks. We consider them a fair allocation of risk between businesses.
19. Your indemnity
You will defend, indemnify and hold harmless Nagrik Apps, its owner and anyone working for it against any claim, demand, investigation, fine, penalty, loss, damage, cost or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or relating to: (a) your Customer Content or communications with End Users; (b) your campaigns, templates, audiences, automations or settings; (c) your breach of these Terms, Applicable Law, or Meta's or Wix's terms or policies; (d) any lack of required consent, opt-in or notice; (e) your goods, services or dealings with End Users; or (f) the acts or omissions of your team. This indemnity does not apply to the extent a claim is caused by our breach of these Terms, our fraud or our wilful misconduct. We will notify you of a claim promptly; a delay reduces your obligation only to the extent it prejudices you. We will let you control the defence with counsel reasonably acceptable to us, and cooperate at your expense; we may take part with our own counsel at our own cost. You may not settle a claim that admits fault on our part or imposes an obligation on us without our written consent.
20. Suspension and termination
- You may stop using OneSeam at any time by uninstalling it from your Wix site. Ending a paid plan is handled through Wix.
- We may suspend or limit your access immediately, with notice where practicable, if we reasonably believe that you have breached Sections 6 or 7, that your use creates a security, legal or reputational risk for us, Meta, Wix or End Users, that Meta or Wix requires it, or that the law or a lawful order requires it. We will lift a suspension once the reason for it has been resolved.
- We may terminate these Terms for material or repeated breach, or for convenience with 30 days' notice. We may also stop offering OneSeam entirely with 30 days' notice where practicable. If we terminate for convenience or stop offering OneSeam, you will not be charged for any period after termination; any refund of fees already paid is handled by Wix under its terms.
- On termination your right to use OneSeam ends, and we delete the data we hold for your site as described on our data deletion page, except anything the law requires us to keep. Customer Content in your Wix site remains under your control.
21. Force majeure
We are not liable for any delay or failure caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including failures, outages, restrictions or policy changes of Third-Party Platforms, internet or telecommunications failures, power failures, cyber-attacks, acts of government or regulators, changes in law, epidemics, natural disasters, war, terrorism, civil unrest, strikes or labour disputes.
22. Changes to the Service and these Terms
We may change OneSeam at any time. We may update these Terms by posting the new version here and changing the date above. For material changes we will give you at least 15 days' notice by email, in the app or on this page before they take effect, unless a change is needed sooner for legal, security or Third-Party Platform reasons. If you do not agree, you must uninstall OneSeam before the change takes effect; continuing to use it means you accept the updated Terms. Changes apply from their effective date and do not affect a dispute you notified to us before then.
23. Governing law and disputes
- These Terms and any dispute arising out of or relating to them are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
- Talk first. The parties will first try in good faith to settle any dispute by written notice and discussion for 30 days. During that time either party may propose mediation, held online. Mediation is voluntary and does not extend the 30 days unless both parties agree in writing.
- Arbitration. Any dispute not settled within that time will be finally resolved by arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act 1996 by a sole arbitrator appointed by agreement of the parties or, failing agreement, under that Act. For every dispute, whatever its amount, the parties agree to the fast-track procedure in section 29B of that Act: the arbitrator decides on written pleadings, documents and submissions, without an oral hearing unless both parties ask for one or the arbitrator considers it necessary, and any hearing is held online. The seat of arbitration is Ahmedabad, India, and the language is English. The arbitrator decides costs under section 31A of that Act. The award is final and binding.
- Courts. Subject to the above, the courts at Ahmedabad, India, have exclusive jurisdiction, including for interim relief and any matter that cannot be referred to arbitration. Either party may seek urgent interim or injunctive relief from a competent court.
24. General
- Entire agreement. These Terms, together with our privacy policy and data deletion page, are the entire agreement between us about OneSeam and replace any earlier understanding. Wix's terms govern billing through Wix. If our privacy policy and Section 12 differ about personal data we process for you, Section 12 prevails.
- Assignment. You may not assign or transfer these Terms without our written consent. We may assign them, including to a successor of our business or to a company we form, by giving you notice.
- Severability. If any provision is found invalid or unenforceable, it will be enforced to the maximum extent permitted and the rest of these Terms remain in effect.
- No waiver. A failure or delay in enforcing a right is not a waiver of it.
- Survival. Sections 5.2, 6, 8 to 13, and 16 to 24, and any other provision that by its nature should survive, survive termination.
- Relationship. We are independent contractors. No partnership, joint venture, agency or employment relationship is created.
- Notices. We may send notices to the email address associated with your Wix account or through the app. You must send notices to us by email to the address below.
- No third-party rights. No one other than you and us may enforce these Terms.
- Language. These Terms are written in English; any translation is for convenience only.
